Excitement at Peterborough’s Serpentine Green ahead of re-opening

While a few shops have been open throughout lockdown, a number have not been able to trade while the restrictions have been in place.

However, those restrictions will be lifted on Monday.

A spokesperson for Serpentine Green said: “We know many of our customers are very excited about the reopening, and we are equally as excited to welcome them back. It’s also a massive milestone for our retailers, and we’re looking forward to them opening their doors once again.

“It’s of course really important that we all continue to work together to help keep everybody safe. Everyone visiting us in the coming weeks can expect to see all of our extra safety measures still in place and, please remember to continue to wear face coverings at all times in our centre.”

The centre will reopen with its usual opening hours of 9am– 8pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 4pm Sunday.

The opening times for individual retailers will vary so customers are advised to check with any specific stores before setting off.
