Elderly woman robbed in Peterborough’s Cathedral Square
A woman has been arrested on suspicion of robbing an elderly woman in Cathedral Square this morning.
The robbery is said to have happened outside the Nat West Bank at about 9.50am today (Wednesday).
The victim, aged in her 80s, was shaken but did not suffer any serious injuries. Police said money had been taken from the pensioner.
A 36-year-old woman has been arrested, and is currently in police custody.
