Man arrested after woman suffers life-threatening injuries in Peterborough incident

A man has been arrested after an incident in Peterborough which left a woman with life-threatening injuries.

Cambridgeshire police were called just before 12.40pm today (Friday, May 20) by the East of England Ambulance Service to reports of concern following an incident in Queens Drive West, off Park Road.

A police spokesman said: “A woman has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

“A 27-year-old man from Peterborough has been arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm. He is currently in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.”
