A teenager was arrested after a meat cleaver was found in his pocket by officers conducting a stop and search.

The arrest was made at about 11.50pm yesterday (Thursday, September 6) in Chelveston Way, Ravensthorpe.

A 16-year-old boy from Peterborough was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon. He remains in custody.
