Robbers steal cash in raid on post office

Robbers got away with cash, cigarettes and alcohol in a raid on a rural post office.

The robbery happened at the post office in Barrier Bank, Cowbit, around 7.15pm last night (Wednesday 15th March.)

A spokesman for Lincolnshire police said three men entered the store and stole cash, alcohol and cigarettes before leaving the scene in a blue 4x4 with a silver skirt.

The member of staff in the shop was shocked but unhurt.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Spalding CID on 101, quoting incident number 404 of 15th March.
