Teenage boys arrested for drugs offences

Three teenage boys were arrested for drugs offences.

The arrests were all made in Wisbech a part of Operation CIPPUS.

At about 6pm on Friday officers arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply. He was taken into custody and later released under investigation.

A 16-year-old boy was stopped in West Street at about 10.15pm and searched by officers. A small quantity of Class A drugs were found and an investigation is ongoing.

A third teenage boy was stopped in Wisbech Park, in Lynn Road, and was found to have a small quantity of cannabis. He was dealt with by means of a community resolution.

A Cambridgeshire police spokesperson said: “Please continue to submit intelligence to us as Operation CIPPUS will continue and you may provide the final piece of the puzzle.”
