Three men were stabbed during a reported fight in Peterborough.

Police were called to the incident involving two groups of men in Searjeant Street, Millfield, at around 2am on Sunday.

Three men suffered stab injuries with one man, aged in his 20, remaining in hospital with serious but non-life threatening injures.

The two other men have since been discharged.

Ricardo Viegas (21) of Thorney Road, Eye, has been charged with grievous bodily harm and is due to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (Monday).

Five other men were arrested on suspicion of affray and have since been released with no further action.
