Firefighters tackle Stanground house fire
Firefighters were called to a house fire in Stanground yesterday (Wednesday, December 28).
At 4.01pm one crew from Stanground and one crew from Dogsthorpe were called to the fire on Sandpiper Drive.
Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and had returned to their stations by 5.10pm.
The cause of the fire has been given as accidental.
