The 600 staff at Bauer Media, in Peterborough Business Park, Lynch Wood, will be working to raise funds for Little Miracles, which is a parent-led support group for over 2,000 families with 6,000 children, who have additional needs, disabilities and life limiting conditions.

The firm presented £5,000 to the group during a visit to its base at The Spinney in Raventhorpe.

Michelle King, of Little Miracles, said: “We are so grateful to Bauer Media for raising funds which will be used to buy new equipment for our sensory room and to train 12 additional bereavement counsellors. We could not provide the services that are desperately needed in this area without the help of businesses like Bauer.”

Tim Lucas, managing director, Business to Business, Bauer Media, said: “We feel privileged to be involved with Little Miracles and it was a joy to meet some of the children and staff on a recent visit.”

“We have some creative plans in the pipeline to offer further support to the charity throughout 2016.”

“Our people really enjoy the opportunity to take part in fundraising events and in doing so, to offer a helping hand to disadvantaged children and young people in our community.”
