Mental health support through Peterborough workshop
Residents of Paston have been able to socialise, relax, build new friendships and keep busy with crochet thanks to the support of the city's Zi Foundation.
The foundation's SMR mental health project has backed a series of crochet workshops at Paston Farm Community Centre .

Creative activities are proven to help reduce stress and encourage positive social interaction while bringing people of all ages together.
Foundation founder Zillur Hussain, pictured at the workshop last week, described it as "a very positive session, listening to and supporting people through our mental health project."
"Hearing their stories and seeing how much better they felt after the session was truly inspiring. These sessions are helping people build confidence, go out more, and make new friends through community connection and support."
ZI Foundation and the SMR project are always working hard to create positive awareness around mental health and support those who may be struggling.
More mental health sessions and awareness events to bring communities together, raise awareness, reduce stigma, and help people feel supported, confident, and connected are planned. For further information visit the Zi Foundation website www.zifoundation.co.uk
