Parnwell residents are invited to a conversation where residents can help bring change to the area.

‘Parnwell Together’ is holding the ROC Conversation Parnwell event on Thursday 19th March from 7pm – 9pm at KingsGate Community Church.

The event hopes to tackle social isolation and loneliness in Parnwell and build community cohesion. With a partnership of 10 local organisations including: resident groups, faith groups, the police and Peterborough City council, they hope to respond to local needs.

Sharon Keogh, Head of Community Action at Kingsgate Church said: “We have been developing the partnership for the last two years. It is an opportunity for local people to talk with local authorities, police, educators and more about the strengths of the community and what they would like to see develop in Parnwell. There are 200 places available and we would like to see a strong turnout by local people.”

Anyone living, working or volunteering in the Parnwell area is invited to attend. Free tickets an be accessed here: https://roc.uk.com/events/
