Police appealing for help to identify unknown man found unconscious in Peterborough street

“Our aim at this time is to find out who he is and inform his family of his whereabouts.”

An appeal has been launched to try and identify an unknown man found unconscious in a Peterborough street.

The man, who is currently at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a serious condition, was discovered by officers in Broadway Gardens, on Friday, August 12, in an unresponsive state with no ID.

Along with a picture of the man’s face, police have also released an image of his distinctive back tattoos.

Detective Inspector Justin Howard, said: “We are really keen to hear from anyone who knows this man or who can help us identify him.

“The circumstances surrounding how he came to be unconscious are unclear and an investigation is ongoing. However, our aim at this time is to find out who he is and inform his family of his whereabouts."
