BREAKING: Body discovered in water in Peterborough
A body has been discovered at Orton Mere in Peterborough.
Emergency services are currently at the scene of the incident.
A police spokesman said: “We were called to Orton Mere at about 11.30am today following reports of a body being discovered.
“Officers are in the process of recovering the body.
“It is believed to be the body of a man.”
The spokesman said there was currently no more information about the identity of the man, or the circumstances of how the body came to be in the water.
