A dog was rescued from a house fire in Peterborough.

Fire crews were called out at 1.10pm on Sunday to Crowhurst in Werrington.

The firefighters arrived to find a fire in a bedroom. They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and rescued the dog.
