Two car crash completely blocks A1 southbound at Peterborough
A two car collision completely blocked the A1 southbound carriageway at Peterborough this morning.
The crash took place at 10.50am on Thursday December 14 and involved an Audi A6 and a van.
Thankfully nobody was injured in the collision but both lanes are blocked while police wait for recovery vehicles.
Officers said: "Alwalton on southbound carriageway is at a standstill due to an RTC, officers are at scene and dealing."
Queues are back past Water Newton.
UPDATE: The road was cleared as of 12.37pm.
