Busy road in Peterborough closed due to ‘police incident’

A busy road in Peterborough has been closed this evening.

Cambridgeshire Police said Alexandra Road was closed around the junction of Dogsthorpe Road.

No reason has been given for the closure as yet, but motorists are advised to avoid the area.
