A driver escaped unhurt from a crash near Peterborough - but has been reported for getting behind the wheel while unlicensed.

Emergency services were called at 9.30am today (4 February) to reports of a single-vehicle collision, involving a black Suzuki Swift on the A47 near Thornhaugh.

Officers are currently at the scene and are arranging recovery of the vehicle.

A police spokesman said the driver was 'unlicensed' and had been reported - but no injuries had been suffered.
