Thunder is set to hit Peterborough this afternoon (Friday).
The Met Office is forecasting thunder and showers from 3pm.
The BBC is also forecasting thunder for long periods on Sunday.
Moreover, rain is expected to be a regular feature throughout the next few weeks, although Peterborough is set to get off lightly compared to central, south and south west England where flooding alerts have been issued.
