Two men appear in court charged with manslaughter of Peterborough pizza delivery man

Two men have appeared in court charged with the death of a pizza delivery man in Peterborough.

Mark Lintott (29) of Shrewsbury Avenue, Peterborough, and Joel Lawson (25) of Goodhale Road, Norwich, were arrested and charged with manslaughter this morning (Friday, May 20).

They appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court this morning.

They were remanded into custody to appear at Peterborough Crown Court on June 8. They did not enter pleas in this morning’s hearing.

Both men were already scheduled to appear at Peterborough Crown Court on June 8 charged with robbery. Lawson has also been charged with possession of cannabis.

Ali Qasemi (45) was delivering pizzas when he was attacked in the early hours of May 8.

He was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, but sadly died on May 10.
