Maddison could be back to face Peterborough United, horror injury for Luke James and former Posh man does his old club a huge favour

Maddison missed Charlton’s scruffy 1-0 win at Bristol Rovers yesterday (January 16) with an ankle injury, but his manager Lee Bowyer reckons the 27 year-old is ‘not far away from a return.’

Charlton will be without midfielder Albie Morgan who was sent off at Rovers after collecting a second yellow card for a foul on former Posh defender Jack Baldwin.
