Posh pair are nominated for February awards

Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson and top scorer Jonson Clarke-Harris have been nominated for February League One awards.

Ferguson steered Posh to six straight wins in February with his team scoring 15 goals and conceding just three.

Ferguson’s rivals for the prize are Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (Burton Albion), Neil Critchley (Blackpool) and Russell Martin (MK Dons).

Clarke-Harris scored in all six February games, scoring eight goals in total.

Clarke-Harris is up against Jorge Grant (Lincoln), Charlie Wyke (Sunderland) and Mallik Wilks (Hull).

The winners will be announced at 6am on Friday (March 12).

Clarke-Harris has also been nominated for a February fans award. His rivals for the FLW Fans’ Player of the Month were Grant, Wyke, Tomas Holy (Ipswich), Robert Atkinson (Oxford), Jordan Thorniley (Blackpool). Voting for that one ended this morning (Wednesday).
