Posh will travel to Spotland to face Rochdale on Saturday, August 6. Last season Posh were beaten 2-0, but a solitary Kyle Vassell goal delivered a victory on the first day of the 2013-14 season.

Posh host last season’s play-off semi-finalists Bradford City in their first home match of the campaign on Saturday, August 13 which is quickly followed by another home game with Millwall (August 16), one of four Tuesday home matches.

Posh will take on local rivals Northampton at the ABAX Stadium on Tuesday, October 18. That’s the first competitive meeting between the clubs since Charlie Lee headed the only goal of the game for 10-man Posh in a League One clash at London Road in March, 2009.

The second meeting follows quite quickly with Posh due to visit Sixfields on Saturday, November 19.

Posh are at home to Gillingham on Boxing Day and at home to Fleetwood on Easter Saturday (April 15). They travel to AFC Wimbledon on Easter Monday (April 17).

The League One season finishes on Sunday, April 20th - a week earlier than the Championship and League Two - when Posh will travel to Bolton for a noon start.
