Peterborough Phantoms will start their competitive ice hockey season early in September.

A cup competition for National League sides will start on September 4 and run until the weekend of September 25/26.

Phantoms will again take part in a 10-team National League which will run from October 2/3 to April 2/3 followed by play-offs culminating in a final at Coventry on April 30.

The National League has been split into two groups of five (North and South) teams playing rivals from the same conference four times and the other conference twice in a planned 52-game season spread across 27 weekends.

Phantoms are in the South group alongside Basingstoke, Bracknell, Swindon and London Raiders.

Hull, Leeds, Milton Keynes, Sheffield and Telford make up the North group.

The fixtures will be released as soon as they are finalised.
