World singles success for local bowler Nicky Brett
Local bowler Nicky Brett is through to the second round of the World indoor singles championship at Potters Resort.
He defeated English qualifier Scott Edwards 8-3, 9-4 in the opening round yesterday (January 16) to set up a clash with England colleague Mervyn King next Thursday morning (January 23).
