How to vote
Nomination forms are published regularly in The Evening Telegraph sports section.
Text PETSAWARDS (space) and the surnames of your nominations followed by category code to SP, SM, SW, TM, JSM, JSW, F, JF , UH and C and send to 81800.
Texts cost 25p plus normal network rates. If you do not want to receive information on any offer, products or services, please text the word STOP at the end of your messages.
Please note that text votes this year will be restricted to five votes per phone number.
We reserve the right to exclude large numbers of votes where we feel people have not entered into the spirit of the competition.
Closing date for nominations is 2pm on Friday, 16 January 2008.
The top three with the most votes in each category will be invited to attend a glitzy sporting evening at the Holiday Inn on Friday, 30 January when the winners, decided by a panel of experts, will be announced.
