There were small queues at Starbucks in Peterborough as it re-opened this morning.

The drive-thru at the Orton Centre opened for the first time since the lockdown was introduced, and a small number of coffee drinkers joined a queue to pick up a drink.

Customers attending were told all drinks will be served in a to-go paper cup, although Starbucks will continue to honour the personal cup discount, only contactless payment will be accepted, and there was a limited food menu. The chain also is offering a free tall drink to all NHS workers.
