Memories of Long Causeway through the years
The first picture, taken in the 1960s, is captioned as Long Causeway but I can’t picture it today. I’m sure Peterborians will be able to help me out.
Brown’s the butchers was a name synonomous with Peterborough shopping and there is a picture of their shop when it was on Long Causeway.

Also taken in the 60s was the next picture. Does anybody remember the Jays store on the corner?
Long Causeway was on the main tram route as the other splendid picture shows.
