Concert promoter Adam Coulton described the Saturday and Sunday event, outside the Van Hage garden centre on the PE1 Retail Park at Eye, as “absolutely brilliant” and is already in talks to bring more events to the city. “It was very well received,” he said. “We had 600 cars come through across the weekend and the weather made it all the more special. The people of Peterborough did us proud and we met some lovely people - I’d love to come back and see them all again.” Over the two days, festival staff took orders from visitors in their cars - with stalls cooking up takeaway treats including hog roast, noodles, Mexican, mac and cheese, crepes, ice creams and drinks - even a roast on Sunday. “I would love to work with PE1 again - I cannot praise them enough, they have been superb,” Adam added.
