Peterborough’s German Doner Kebab restaurant commits to staying open for takeaways
The 80-seat German Doner Kebab restaurant in Bridge Street welcomed its first customers on December 17 - hours before the government announced Peterborough would move into tier 3 - restricting it to offering just a takeaway service.
With Peterborough and the rest of the country now in Lockdown, the restaurant - open 11am to 11pm, seven days a week - is continuing to trade in line with government’s guidance covering takeaway and delivery services. Contactless delivery and Click & Collect is available through its delivery partners Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.
