The newly renovated John Lewis & Partners store within Queensgate Shopping Centre will be opening its Style Studio to present an evening of fashion and fizz to raise money for Shine.

Hosted by John Lewis’ team of personal stylists, the event – located on the Upper Ground Floor – will begin at 6pm on Thursday, March 19, with guests welcome from 5.30pm.

The stylist team will deliver an insightful style talk and share tips on how to style for less while guests enjoy a complimentary glass of fizz.

For makeup and skincare lovers award-winning cosmetics brand Laura Mercier will also be at the event to deliver a beauty demo, giving everyone an opportunity to discover a range of their newest and most loved products.

Guests of the event will be able to participate in a raffle to fundraise for Shine, which is Queensgate Shopping Centre’s charity of the year for 2019/2020.

Shine provides specialist support from before birth and throughout the life for anyone living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, as well as to parents, families, carers and professional care staff.

Shine’s corporate fundraiser Asif Shaheed said: “It’s a real feather in the cap that Shine has been chosen as the charity to co-host John Lewis & Partner’s first Fashion ‘n’ Fizz event since the store re-fit, and in their newly established Style Studio.

“Our guests will have the opportunity to view first-hand fashion trends that are yet to hit the high street. And they’ll also be raising funds for a worthy cause at the same time.

“Here at Shine we are completely self-funded and rely on the support of individuals and companies to raise the funds required to support our 12,000 members nationwide. Events such as this are priceless in raising our profile and, subsequently, much needed funds.”

Tickets can be purchased for £10 per person by calling 01733 555988 or emailing [email protected].
