Current searches for missing Peterborough teenager Bernadette have ‘concluded’

Bernadette, from Century Square, Peterborough was reported missing by mum Sarah on July 21 after she had not been seen for three days.
Police searched the house she shared with parents Sarah and Scott Walker over the weekend of September 12 and 13.

Hide AdThe searches then moved to garages in Walton, as well as countryside around Cowbit, before returning to Peterborough in the Newborough area last week.
Police divers also carried out searches of the River Welland.
However today a Cambridgeshire Police spokesman said: “Current searches have concluded, however work is ongoing to review our investigation and the direction of any searches.”
Bernadette’s parents, Sarah Walker (37) and Scott Walker (50), both of Century Square, Millfield appeared at Peterborough Crown Court via video link last month charged with her murder.

Hide AdA trial date was sent for March next year, with the next court appearance scheduled for next month.
Police are still appealing for information to try and find out what happened to her, with the appeal focussing on July 18 - when Bernadette was last seen alive.
When she went missing, she was described as medium build, her hair was half brown, half gingery blonde with a streak of pink. She has facial piercings and two homemade tattoos. She wears glasses and is around 5ft 6in.
