Driver crashes into Peterborough house before leaving the scene

A driver crashed into a house in Peterborough before leaving the scene.

Police were called at 7.43pm last night (Tuesday) to Atherstone Avenue in Netherton to reports that a silver Ford Mondeo had crashed through a fence into the wall of a house.

A police spokesman said that the driver made off from the scene.

Attempts are being made to locate the person.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
