Ex-police officer from Stamford guilty of six charges of misconduct in a public office
Jason Farquhar, aged 44, of Stamford, who was employed by Northamptonshire Police, admitted the offences at Northampton Crown Court.
He also pleaded guilty to a further charge, under the Computer Misuse Act, of misusing Force systems.

Hide AdOutlining the case to the court, Grace Hale, prosecuting, said: “The defendant was not deterred from forging or trying to forge an improper relationship that involved flirtations and inappropriate comments.
“He did not have the opportunity in five of these cases to develop the relationship further because the women did not want it.
“In all of these cases, he would not have made contact with them if he were not a police officer.”
Adjourning sentencing until tomorrow (Tuesday, September 11) Judge Rupert Mayo warned Farquhar that should be prepared to expect a sentence of immediate custody.
Northamptonshire Police will tomorrow release a full statement from Deputy Chief Constable Rachel Swann upon conclusion of the case.
