Labour have announced Nicky Massey will be their candidate to become the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Police and Crime Commissioner.

Nicky, a working mum, left her career in the financial industry to work as the Events Manager and Fundraiser for the charity HoverAid, which provides aid to remote communities afflicted with natural disasters and highlights the problems they face to lever in further assistance. She has been a Cambridge City Councillor since 2018, and is the lead for Community Safety. She is also a governor of Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

Nicky said: "I’m delighted to be Labour’s candidate in this election. I’m looking forward to getting out and about across Cambridgeshire when we can do so safely, to show local people why I’m the best choice to be the next Police and Crime Commissioner.
