Man arrested after cannabis factory found taking up four bedrooms and a bathroom in Peterborough home

A man has been arrested after a cannabis factory was found in Peterborough.

Yesterday from the south Neighbourhood Policing team found 99 plants growing at a house in Sheringham Way, Orton.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said: “The whole of the top floor, including four bedrooms and a bathroom had been converted to enable the growing of these illegal substances.

“A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis and is currently in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.”
