A man has been charged with attempted robbery following an incident at a Peterborough bank on Tuesday afternoon.

Daryl Stevenson (33) of no fixed address was arrested at the Metro Bank in Long Causeway at about 1.30pm.

He has since been charged with attempted robbery and will appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday).
