Police name Peterborough man charged with racial assault after internet video goes viral
A man from Peterborough will appear in court this morning after a video circulating on the internet showed an incident of alleged racist abuse.
Arun Ali, 30, of Outfield, in Bretton, Peterborough has been arrested and charged with racial common assault, common assault, a public order offence, a racially aggravated public order offence and careless driving.
He is due to appear in Peterborough Magistrates’ Court this morning.
