Deeping St James hare coursing reports lead to drug offences arrests
Police received a report just after 1.30pm yesterday (Wednesday) that individuals had been seen on private land in Stowgate, Deeping St James, and were believed to be engaged in hare coursing.
The suspects left the scene and through various enquiries to trace them, officers discovered a cannabis grow in the nearby area.

Hide AdTwo men from the Peterborough area were arrested in connection with this; a 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of production of a class B drug (cannabis), possession of a class A drug (cocaine), and assaulting a police officer.
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of production of a class B drug (cannabis). Both remain in police custody as enquiries continue.
