Sarah Louise McCormick, 29, said: “To wake up to the news of someone being arrested for the murder gives us all new hope that now hopefully justice will be done this time round so Rikki can finally rest in peace.
“Words can’t describe how I’m feeling this morning. My childhood best friend Rikki and his family will now hopefully get the justice for his murder.

The pair used to play together most days and Sarah was with him the day before he went missing.
