A1 shut at Stamford after trailer overturns
The A1 southbound is shut at the A606 junction at Stamford this afternoon, Monday, following a collision.
The accident involves a car towing a trailer and the AA report that the trailer has overturned.
The road is currently closed to assist recovery.
There are long delays back past Stretton.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
UPDATE: The vehicle has now been recovered but residual delays remain.
