A driver was taken to hospital after a crash on the Frank Perkins Parkway.
One lane was closed shortly after 9pm last night (Friday) after a two car crash southbound between Boongate and Stanground, which caused lengthy traffic delays.
Both cars had to be recovered, with the road re-opening at 11.30pm.
A Cambridgeshire police spokeswoman said an ambulance was called to the scene but cancelled after one of the drivers was taken to hospital by a friend.
