Two killed in Easter Monday house fire
Two people died in a house fire in Huntingdonshire last night, Monday March 28.
Fire crews from Huntingdon, Chatteris and Sutton were called 7.58pm to the house in Queens Road in Somersham.
Firefighters arrived to find a house well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and jets.
Sadly a man and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
