Anglian Water have confirmed that they plan to fix a water leak in Peterborough city centre this week.

Residents noticed towards the end of last week that one of the drains close to the pedestrian crossing on Bridge Street, appeared to be leaking water and creating puddles in the road.

The section of the A15 is known to flood frequently along Bourges Boulevard but these puddles are unusual given the lack of significant rainfall over the weekend period.
