“Both our teams in the event played really well,” said head coach Rod Barnes. “We had some great possession that we turned into tries. On the whole, it was a great performance in terrible conditions.”
The Under 16s went down today 47-17 in a hastily arranged game against a strong Huntingdon side, with missed tackles proving costly.

“It was a tough lesson as Huntingdon are one of the best teams in the whole of the Midlands,” said team manager Spencer Lloyd. “But, ever valiant, Borough stayed tough until the bitter end in horribly wet conditions.”
The Under 15s were also in action, losing 25-5 at home to West Norfolk with Mo Gabiee crossing for their only try.
