Deeping match secretary quits post
It has been an uncomfortable position for him since he took over the reins from Ray Torrington, but I’m sure the club will have the position filled by the time the new season on rivers comes around.
Smith’s last match was fished at the in-form Lake Ross out at Pinchbeck which saw Graham Page put 126lb 8oz to the scales from peg 24 for his first win of the year. He caught most of his fish up in the water on a banded pellet. Similar tactics saw Pete Molesworth Junior take the runner-up spot with 94lb and third place went to Dave Marzell with 68lb 8oz.
