NON-LEAGUE: Sports sign a lethal marksman, great Grimsby win for Daniels
Jones has dropped down a couple of levels to play for the city side in the United Counties Premier Division.
And he’s made a stunning first impression by scoring six goals in 130 minutes of friendly action so far this summer.

“Mark is a machine,” Sports manager Jimmy Dean enthused. “He’s good in the air, quick and his finishing is lethal. His attitude is also spot on. He’s a gifted lad who also works hard.
“I played with Mark at Peterborough Northern Star a few years ago when he hardly got into our team, but he’s improved beyond recognition.”
Dean has taken his team to Prague this weekend for the club’s first-ever fixture in Europe!

Hide AdSports take on Prague League champions Predni Kopinina tomorrow (July 16) during a trip when the football won’t be a priority.
Sports are only taking the bare 11 players so a tough game is certain.
“It’s more about team-bonding for me,” Dean added. “I doubt there will be a closer-knit squad than mine at our level and a weekend away can only help.
“We will take the game seriously and we want to give a good account of ourselves, but we will be going out tonight!”
