Peterborough Sports believe they’ve made three cracking signings and Avelino Vieira signs for Wisbech Town
Manager Jimmy Dean made the announcements this morning (July 4) as Sports continue to step up preparations for the start of the Southern League Central Premier Division in 2020-21.
Former Posh youngster Dan Jarvis has moved to the Bee Arena from Yaxley, while winger Jordan Macleod has returned to the club after spells at Wisbech, Rushden & Diamonds and Deeping Rangers.

Hide AdMcGowan is a centre-back who started his career at Notts County and who has also played for Boston United.
Dean said: “We’ve tracked Dan Jarvis for a while now. He’s a local boy who came through the system at Posh. He can play centre midfield or full-back, he’s very sound technically, he has a fantastic engine & his personality is perfect for us.
“Everyone knows the ability Jordan Macleod has has and now has to be the time he makes his mark. He wants to be at
Sports and he wants to prove a point. He is very versatile across the attacking areas and I expect him to really kick on this year.

Hide Ad“And Brad McGowan was a pro at Notts County and has also played for Alfreton Town, Boston United, Grantham & Frickley. He has a fantastic pedigree and I have high hopes for him. Still only 24, very ambitious & very determined.”
Sports striker Avelino Vieira has signed for Wisbech Town. The Fenman have also signed goalkeeper Luke Pearson, Jack Gurney and Liam Adams. Former Posh youngster Aaron Hart and Tiago Nassunculo have left Wisbech.
