Posh youths put in a battling performance against Stoke
A youthful Posh side were beaten 3-2 by the Stoke City Under 23 team in a Premier League Cup tie at Leek Town last night (October 15).
It was a pleasing performance for Posh with Oliver Shackleton showing up well in attack and keeper Will Blackmore pulling off several fine saves.
And striker Matty Stevens also boosted his confidence with a two-goal haul for the visitors.
Tyrese Campbell, son of former Arsenal and Everton striker Kevin Campbell, scored a hat-trick for Stoke.
Posh and Stoke are in a four-team group completed by Charlton Athletic and Sunderland.
