The Decoy Lakes complex runs into some superb form
There was a very good turnout for the Over 55s match on Friday with both the Six Islands and Four Islands pools being used.
Top rod on Six Islands was Steve Dorks. He fished maggot on the pole to the island and in the margins for 86lb 2oz.

Hide AdRunner-up with 73lb 4oz was Paddy Morley, who fished the pole with pellet, then it was Pete Holland with 69lb 1oz.
Over on the nearby Four Islands it was Bob McBeath out in front. He caught on sweetcorn and pellet from peg one weighing in 53lb 10oz.
Runner-up with 46lb 5oz was Mick King, then came Mike Mitchell with 40lb 7oz.
JVAC
The Oak Pool fished well for the JVAC lads on Sunday and topping a big field with 152lb 12oz was Barry Nicholls, who caught on a straight lead approach with sweetcorn.

Hide AdAndy Gausden came in second with 140lb 4oz, caught on the pole with red maggot, then came Chris Saunders with 135lb 7oz.
COCK INN
The Werrington-based Cock Inn Angling Club fished the small carp lake at Kingsland Fishery on Sunday and making a welcome return to top of the list was Brian Hampson.
His winning weight of 74lb 1oz from peg 12 was taken down the margins on pole fished maggot.
Hampson is one of the older anglers at the club and used all that experience to show the younger guns how to win a match.

Hide AdIt took an hour to get the fish going, but once he worked out the right feeding strategy, it was action all the way.
In second place was Burt Currie on peg one. He caught 68lb 9oz and third was the consistent Mick Sidney with 56lb 10oz from peg 13.
After three rounds of the summer league, Sidney and Chris Shortland share the top spot on the club leaderboard.
WEBB’S AC
The latest Webb’s AC match saw them back at Float Fish Farm Fishery, this time on the Wagtail Pool, which has just started to fish well.

Hide AdA cold wind on the water made it tough going for some though.
Leading the way was Ken Allum, who caught on the pole and small feeder with pellet to finish with 52lb 8oz.
Martin Parker fished a Method feeder, again with pellet, to take the runner-up spot with a level 38lb, then came John Brodie with 17lb 2oz.
OVER 60s
Stan Dow continues his fine run of form at Float Fish Farm Fishery, winning the Wednesday Over 60s match with 61lb 5oz taken close in with cat meat on the pole.

Hide AdRunner-up was Jeff Tuttlebee, who had a mixed bag on the maggot for 54lb, followed by Dave Schwinger on 43lb 2oz.
FLOAT FARM FISHERY OPEN
In the Saturday Open match Andy Adams topped the list with a fine 95lb 3oz net all taken on the long pole with pellet, very impressive fishing considering the windy conditions.
Runner-up was Johnny Foster with 85lb 10oz then came Shaun Waterfall with 55lb.
