Police have launched a CCTV appeal after a teenage girl was assaulted in Peterborough

The victim, a 16-year-old girl, left her workplace and began walking along down Lincoln Road in Millfield at about 10.30pm on June 25 when she was approached by a man who appeared to be very drunk.

The girl tried to walk away but he followed her along Lincoln Road, away from the city centre.

“While we have not been able to capture the man’s face on CCTV, we hope someone may be able to identify him from his distinctive clothing.”
